January Attorneys Incorporated is a 100% Black woman-owned law firm based in Bryanston, Sandton. Ms Thandi January, the founding director, is an admitted attorney, notary, and
conveyancer with more than 25 years post-admission experience in the Legal Field.

ABOUT US
Ms January is a director and founder of January Attorneys
Incorporated. She was admitted as an attorney of the
High Court of South Africa in 1995. She is also a Conveyancer and a Notary
Ms January has more than 25 years post admission experience in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law.
She has consulted in Governance, Compliance and Risk
Management and in both public and private. She has also
been involved in policy development and drafting for the
public sector.
Recently, she has spread her wings to include Property
Law and all aspects of Conveyancing and Notarial
services.
In addition to her BA.LLB qualifications, Ms January has
a Higher Diploma in Corporate Law as well as a Post
Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management (Cum
Laude) from the University of Johannesburg. She also
holds a Certificate in Management Advancement
Programme from WITS Business School.
One of her accomplishments was a recognition and an award from Gawie Le Roux Institute of
Law for her outstanding achievement in Notary Exams.
Ms January prides herself on her unwavering passion for serving, educating, and empowering of
communities in aspects of property law and related matters. In her quest to serve, she ensures
that her clients from all walks of life, receive excellent, professional, and personalised service,
always.
